Dipped Products PLC reported a flat net profit of Rs 920 million in the September 2025 quarter, with pre-tax profit down 5% to Rs 1.73 billion and administrative costs up 21%. Six-month net profit rose 14% to Rs 1.8 billion, six-month EPS was Rs 43.01, interim dividends totalling Rs 0.86 were paid, and Hayleys owns 42.1%.

Several listed firms, including Hayleys (HAYL.N0000), Aitken Spence (SPEN.N0000), Ceylon Cold Stores (CCS.N0000), Alumex (ALUM.N0000), Dipped Products (DIPD.N0000) and Lion Brewery (LION.N0000), received awards or commendations at the ISMM National Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2025.
The ASPI briefly crossed an all-time high of 23,000 before dipping and closed at 22,953.49, up 0.11% (25.18 points). Turnover topped Rs.4.4bn with net foreign outflows of ~Rs.485.4m and heavy participation in counters including Aitken Spence, Colombo Dockyard, Sunshine and Commercial Bank.
Colombo market closed marginally up as the ASPI rose 0.26% to 22,850.95 on Rs. 9.2bn turnover, led by gains in Hayleys, Bairaha, Colombo Dockyard, Royal Ceramics, LAUGFS Gas and Dipped Products while DFCC, HNB, Commercial Bank and JKH declined; foreigners were net buyers (Rs. 13.8m).
The EPF recorded an unrealized profit of Rs.73.97 billion on its Colombo Stock Exchange holdings as of June 30, 2025, with its Rs.85.88 billion invested across 64 listed companies rising to a market value of Rs.159.85 billion.

Colombo bourse rose as the ASPI gained 0.86% (closing at 21,521) with turnover of Rs. 9.29 billion, led by banking-sector activity and top contributors SAMP, CTC, CFIN, SFCL and DIST. Nations Trust Bank fell, while Jetwing Symphony, Ceylon Hotels and Hemas recorded gains.
The Exporters' Association of Sri Lanka held its 28th AGM with EU Ambassador Carmen Moreno stressing compliance, sustainability and the CBAM framework for exporters. Yohan Lawrence was re-elected chairman and the executive committee includes representatives from listed firms such as HNB, Hayleys, Sampath, Lion Brewery, CIC, Dipped Products and Dankotuwa Porcelain.
