Colombo market fell to a three-month low as the ASPI slipped 0.50% (107.39 pts) to 21,424.99 and the S&P SL20 dropped 0.37% (22.04 pts) to 6,000.15. Dipped Products and exporters may also gain from higher rubber prices and rupee depreciation, while Kelani Tyres could face margin pressure.

Dipped Products PLC managing director Pushpika Janadheera was reappointed chairman of the Sri Lanka Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Rubber Products (SLAMERP) at its 15th AGM. The AGM also announced proposed office-bearers for 2026–27 and emphasized support for the country's value-added rubber sector.
Dipped Products PLC donated 50,000 protective gloves to the Ministry of Defence for flood relief. The gloves, handed over by Hayleys PLC's chairman alongside DPL's MD, will be deployed to assist relief personnel and volunteers in flood-affected areas.
