Vallibel One (VONE.N0000) reported FY2024/25 consolidated revenue of Rs.122.8bn and PAT of Rs.16.02bn. EPS rose to Rs.10.34 and NAV/share to Rs.95.74, with group assets and equity up; LB Finance (LFIN.N0000) posted PAT of Rs.10.86bn for the year.

Vallibel One's Delmege Energy has appointed Ashan Silva and Jacques Gunawardena as brand ambassadors to promote Shell car and motorcycle lubricants in Sri Lanka. The ambassadors will feature in digital campaigns, live activations and workshops to boost awareness and engagement for Shell lubricants.
Foreign investors were net buyers with a Rs. 510.4 million inflow as the ASPI rose 0.12% and turnover was Rs. 2.43 billion; key contributors included John Keells, Vallibel One, Commercial Bank, Dialog and others.
Colombo Stock Exchange closed higher in a shortened session, with the ASPI up 45 points to 15,962 (S&P SL20 +0.22%). Turnover was about Rs.1.48–1.5 billion and foreign investors net sold Rs.177.3 million; key contributors included MELS, WIND, SPEN, SAMP and heavy turnover in CTC, BIL and KOTA.

Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC disclosed that its subsidiary Swisstek Aluminium raised Rs. 807 million via a rights issue (16 for 29 at Rs.11), allotting 73,365,266 shares and raising stated capital to Rs. 1.409 billion. The subscription reduced PARQ's holding in the subsidiary to 67.987% (potentially 66.772% if remaining minorities accept) and remaining entitlements were renounced in favour of Vallibel One.
Colombo market closed lower as the ASPI fell 60 points to 15,848 despite net foreign inflows of Rs.133.8m and turnover of Rs.1.6bn (down 23.4% vs monthly average). Banking-led turnover (HNBN top at Rs.297m) saw HNB, CINS, JKH, DFCC and CFIN drag the market while CCS and Richard Pieris attracted buying.
ASPI rose 33 points (0.2%) as turnover hit Rs.1.9 billion, led by crossings in Hatton National Bank, Commercial Bank and CIC Holdings; banking stocks were the main drivers while materials also saw heavy trading.
The ASPI fell 1.6% (255 points) as selling continued with banking and blue-chip stocks leading declines; turnover was Rs. 1.7bn (below the monthly average) and foreign investors were net sellers of Rs. 50.5m.
