HNB PLC has partnered with Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC to offer exclusive leasing solutions for TATA commercial and passenger vehicles, Mercedes‑Benz, Jeep and agricultural machinery, including discounts, extended warranties and island‑wide after‑sales support.

The Sri Lanka, France Business Council held its 22nd Annual General Meeting in Colombo and elected Shaameel Mohideen (Spillburg Holdings) as President and Zafir Hashim (John Keells Holdings PLC) as Senior Vice President. Representatives from Aitken Spence and Diesel & Motor Engineering were also elected to the council committee.

Diesel & Motor Engineering (DIMO) expanded its Solar Solutions into residential markets and launched integrated Solar + Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) under the DIMO Solar brand, offering modular 5–16 kWh systems and partnerships with GoodWe, Huawei, Jinko and others.

Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC's Engine Care unit has been redesigned and expanded into a state‑of‑the‑art, customer‑centric engineering facility offering advanced engine overhauling, machining and diagnostics to improve speed, accuracy and turnaround. Diesel & Motor Engineering (DIMO.N0000) hosted the Mercedes‑Benz Flying Doctor Service Clinic from 6–10 April 2026 focused exclusively on EQ electric models, providing factory-level diagnostics and one-on-one technical consultations to strengthen EV aftersales support in Sri Lanka.

DIMO's Power & Energy arm launched 'EVO by DIMO', introducing Siemens commercial EV chargers (11–360 kW), Sri Lanka's first dual-gun AC 22 kW IP65 chargers, a network app with tokenised payments, and plans for mobile 30 kW DC roadside charging and nationwide deployment.
