DFCC Bank PLC has secured supplementary international listings for its pioneering Blue Bond on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (displayed on the Luxembourg Green Exchange) and on India INX at GIFT City. The bond, Sri Lanka’s first listed Blue Bond, was already listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange and NSEIX.

DFCC Bank PLC has introduced fingerprint-based life certificate verification for eligible government pensioners at 50 selected branches in collaboration with the Department of Pensions. The service is for pensioners who retired after 2016 and have registered fingerprints with the Department.

Colombo Stock Exchange closed up 1.13% to 22,833.53, led by gains in John Keells, DFCC and National Development Bank while Senkadagala Finance fell 10.66%. National Development Bank received CSE approval in principle to list Rs.16 billion of debentures at 11.50%, 11.04% and 11.85%.
