Colombo market extended its pre-election rally as the ASPI gained 136 pts to 13,125 and the S&P SL20 neared 4,000 on turnover of Rs.7bn. Banking stocks led the advance (Sampath, DFCC, NDB, NTB, JKH, LOLC, MELS, CTHR among contributors) and several firms (ASIY, GRAN, TAFL, GLAS) announced interim dividends.
The ASPI closed the week up 0.2% at 12,313 (23-point gain) while the S&P SL20 fell 0.5%, with market turnover averaging Rs. 1.75 billion. Diversified financials led turnover and there was positive investor interest in plantation names (BALA, AGPL), LB Finance, Lankem, C T Holdings, Central Finance, HNB and Digital Mobility (PKME).
Colombo Stock Exchange rebounded as the ASPI rose 0.27% to 12,290 on turnover of about Rs.1.75 billion, driven by gains in hotel counters and select plantation and telecom stocks.

Colombo bourse saw net foreign inflows of Rs. 339.1 mn while the ASPI fell 19 points on turnover of Rs. 2.1 bn. John Keells drew the most foreign buying and led turnover, banks (Sampath, DFCC) weighed on the index and AGPL rose 9.8% after a dividend.
Colombo Stock Exchange closed down, the All Share Index fell 0.16% to 12,152 with turnover Rs 2.1bn and a net foreign outflow of Rs 339m; top foreign buying included Commercial Bank, Sampath Bank, ACL Cables, Melstacorp and Elpitiya Plantations, and Agarapatana Plantations suspended trading after announcing a Rs1 dividend.
Colombo's ASPI rose about 6 points to 12,171 as turnover was Rs.1.4bn, led by Commercial Bank, Hayleys and John Keells. Hayleys (+4.5%) and John Keells (+2.5%) were major index movers while banking counters saw profit-taking (Sampath down) and foreigners net sold Rs.21.4m.

ASPI gained 1% to close at 12,053 as investors returned to buying, led by banking and blue-chip stocks; turnover was Rs. 2.8bn. Sampath Bank, John Keells and Commercial Bank were among top contributors to the session's gains.
Colombo Stock Exchange closed lower, with the All Share Index down 0.33% to 10,801 and the S&P SL20 down 0.32% to 3,035 on turnover of 1.4 billion. Top turnover names included Hemas, John Keells and Commercial Bank, there was net foreign inflow of 11.39 million amid continued selling pressure.
